Tail pieces, when paired with a hex nut or beer nut, provide a way for terminating hose lines with a female threaded fitting to screw on to a shank or coupler. A range of sizes are available depending on hose size. Use stainless steel splicers, such as 303 grade, for beer, kombucha and cider. 304 grade stainless steel is recommended for wine as it is less reactive with the acids and sulfites in the wine.
