The scientific Brix scale hydrometer is calibrated to show the percentage of sucrose by weight at 68°F/20°C. The 1° Brix = 1% sucrose by weight at a specified 68°F/20°C temperature. The added thermometer allows for temperature corrections.
Three (3) precision ranges variations available:
- 0 – 12° Brix
- 9 – 21° Brix
- 19 – 31° Brix
