Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several tree species from the genus Cinnamomum. Cinnamon is used mainly as an aromatic condiment and flavouring additive in a wide variety of cuisines, sweet and savoury dishes, breakfast cereals, snackfoods, tea and traditional foods. Cinnamon Sticks give ciders, holiday beers a warm-tasting, spicy flavor and aroma. Goes well with ginger, anise, orange and honey flavors. Add 1 whole stick to darken beers 5 minutes from end of boil. If stronger flavor is desired, use additional sticks or crush for intense flavor.
