Citric Acid



Citirc acid is used in sanitizing solutions to lower pH, therefore making the SO2 solution more effective.

Can be used in winemaking, specifically fruit wines (non-wine grape) for acid adjustments, and/or other food making applications such as: cheesemaking, food ferments, and canning. Also, used in soapmaking process.

As part of sanitizing solution (per gallon of solution):

  • Citirc Acid 1 Tbsp.
  • Potassium (or Sodium) Metabisulfite 1 Tbsp.
    Campden Tablet 1
