This strain is the go-to for craft brewers. Highly popular – this strain performs well at standard ale temperatures but can be used in the low 60s to produce exceptionally crisp ales. Flocculation is in the middle of the road and will typically require filtration or fining to achieve crystal clear beers.

Their pitches are designed to inoculate 5 gallons (19L) of standard gravity wort (less than 1.070 SG) at 10.5 million cells/mL. All homebrew pouches are guaranteed up to 4 months from manufacture dated.

It is recommended to store your Imperial homebrew pouch in a refrigerator until it is time to pitch, no need to bring to room or pitching temperature. To pitch, remove pouch from refrigerator, massage and shake thoroughly mix and homogenize the settled yeast into solution. Sanitize, open and pour into fermenter.
