Description
This strain combines good flocculation characteristics with low sulfur and low diacetyl. Clean fermentations produce amazing bock, helles, pilsner, dunkles, and just about any other lager style you throw its way.
Temp: 50-60F, 10-16C // Flocculation: Medium // Attenuation: 70-74%

Made a tropical stout with this.
Fermented at 80f and went from 1.086 to 1.016 in a week.
Kegged and carbed. A touch of dark fruit came through, but it was way too clean for my goal.
Next time I might try WY2633 for a bit more character. Performed incredibly well for the high fermentation temps.

That sounds amazingly tasty! 80F ferment? Interesting to hear how that lager yeast preformed at the higher end of the range. FYI give us a heads up when you are ready to try it with Wyeast 2633 Octoberfest Blend lager strain as we don’t carry alot and we can make sure we have what you need in the freshest possible. Cheers!
