International Lager

Monthly recipe kits we are creating in store for homebrewers with discerning taste. You may know Jeff from the draft counter at the store, but did you know he is an awesome homebrewer in his own right? Don't trust us, come on down to the shop and try these beers on tap if you don't believe us. These kits come premade in either extract or all-grain and with dry yeast or liquid yeast, it's kind of a choose your own adventure type thing! Printed recipe included in the box of course. Rolling into July we thought there is no better time to talk faux lager's. What is a faux lager you may ask? Well, that would be a beer designed to have that crisp, well attenuated and clean flavor of a lager but without the need for cold fermentation and aging. Yes it is a shortcut and no it won't taste like a liter of your favorite German Helles, but you can do it at home!
